1. As a volunteer on the spot in Malawi. The following missions are due for 2009:
Spring 2009: construction of accommodation and a visitor centre.
Spring 2009: road construction and maintenance hand in hand with the local communities.
Spring 2009: inventory of crop damage caused by elephants in the communities.
Planned for 2009: community conservation work (details will follow).
June-November 2009: participating in the annual Mammal Survey.
During the entire year: participating in snare removal patrols.
For people with specific skills and/or knowledge (i.e. (conservation) education, botany, reptiles, amphibians, insects etc.), we can put together a special assignment.
2. Become a supporting member of WAGS in Europe with an annual fee of 25.00 Euro* only you can assist us!
If you wish so, you will receive the monthly newsletter on WAG's work in Thuma Forest Reserve in Malawi via email plus our membership magazine as a print out version twice a year.
